Florida Sport Fishing Charter

Ultimate South Florida Sport Fishing Charter

Come out sport fishing in South Florida with one of the best and friendliest crews anywhere in Florida! Located in Ft. Lauderdale, we are minutes from other South Florida locations including Miami, Boca Raton, Pompano and Deerfield Beach.

We offer a variety of Ft Lauderdale fishing trips to suit your time frame. Our standard trip is a half day which can be in the morning or the afternoon but we also offer all-day trips or 3/4 day fishing trips. Depends on what kind of charter fishing you want to do!

South Florida has the closest big-game fishing anywhere in the United States. The Gulf Stream is right offshore, only a five minute run! Our sailfish are caught in sight of the beach.

We fish for; sailfish, mahi-mahi, tuna, king mackerel, wahoo, grouper, giant sharks, barracuda, snapper, and many more species as well! If you have a preference let us know. "Whatever it takes!" is our motto. No fishing request will be ignored.

Live Bait-Kite Fishing, Sailfishing, Trolling, Wreck Fishing, Dead Bait-Trolling, Shark Fishing, Bottom Fishing, we do it all! Your party can be from 1-6 people.

No shouting, yelling or any of that stuff. And we love to help new anglers get into the sport. Fun and Fishing are meant to be together. We keep it that way for the best in Ft Lauderdale fishing

FORT LAUDERDALE FISHING CHARTER

Our charter fishing trips in Ft. Lauderdale offer some of the best fishing in South Florida! We are about 4 miles from Fort Lauderdale located at the Sands Harbor Marina in Pompano Beach which is just off of Atlantic Blvd and the Intercostal. A great location to book your fishing charter.

This is where the Ft. Lauderdale fishing excitement really is! Fort Lauderdale is home to Sailfish, sharks, blackfin tuna, and many more large pelagic sportfish. Live bait is often the key to catching them. When conditions are right we will put up fishing kites and suspend the baits from them.

Two types of Ft. Lauderdale fishing such as this fit nicely into a half day charter trip. When we have more time we often try other types of fishing such as:

Fort Lauderdale Wreck fishing

Dropping large live baits down to our plentiful wrecks and artificial reefs provides some huge bites! We get several types of grouper throughout the year as well as golden amberjacks, large snapper, and suprises like sharks, cobia, and many more.

Ft. Lauderdale Bottom fishing

If you want something for the table we can spend an hour of your trip catching snapper. Often you can get them from three to five at a time on special rigs we make for them.

Ft Lauderdale Deep Sea Fishing

Going offshore in Ft. Lauderdale can be incredible. Just a couple miles off our coast lies the gulf stream. Just outside the reef in fact. If mahi-mahi (dolphin) are what you are interested in this is the place for you. Out in the blue gulf stream water we also get wahoo, and an occasional marlin too. Once you find the fish offshore you usually fill the box. The trick is finding them which occasionally takes some time. We therefore try to reserve trips out there for 3/4 and full day trips, unless we know where the fish are already.

These are just a few of the many ways we fish, and you may encounter several on your South Florida fishing trip. We will do whatever it takes to catch the most fish and/or biggest fish we can for you.

ABOUT THE CAPTAIN

Captain Jed DuBois has a lifetime of sport fishing experience, up and down the east coast and the Caribbean. For the last 15 years he has made his home in South Florida fishing locally in Fort Lauderdale, and following blue marlin through the Caribbean Islands. "I'm Jed, and I want you to have the best possible time on your South Florida Sport fishing trip. My brother and I will see to it that you catch fish. We will also provide a lighthearted environment without all the yelling and pressure some charter boats are known for. We like to get everyone involved, helping to catch the prize you have always wanted to and fish for the table!"

ABOUT THE MATE

Robert DuBois, our "Deck Technician" and certified captain, is a pleasure to fish with. He will be there to help make sure they get in the boat. Alive with conversation he loves a good joke and can tell you some fascinating fishing stories on the way out.
